Seeking Ideas for ICPs in Boutique BPO and Email Campaign Tips

Hey @everyone, does anyone have ideas on good ICPs for a boutique BPO? I’m helping a client build theirs out along with an email campaign, and I’d love any tips or examples you’ve got. Appreciate it!

Ben B. this is quite helpful and in line with the discussions we had today, we’re moving to focus on one industry for now and yes I agree with being specific with the outreach, we’ve been trying to experiment with that too and review progress as we go.

People are more likely to get into conversation if you: a) can say "we work specifically with XYZ niche in ABC vertical" and b) can talk about that side of things specifically to show your expertise

I would start with just one industry, or if you're experimenting over a handful, decide pretty quickly which one is giving you the most responses, and turn your focus there. That way, you can frame your messaging as serving just that exact side of the vertical to start. And learn a lot about that slice of life, have your team become the experts for that niche.

None taken, they brought me in to help figure that out. They’ve got the capabilities but haven’t locked in a clear target yet. They’re exploring multiple industries, and I’m helping narrow that by defining where they can win and building ICPs + outreach around it. Right now, I’m focusing on companies in hiring, growth, or expansion stages. Just researching what’s worked well for others who’ve gone through this.
