Noticing a shift right now in the SaaS world which is impacting many AEs. With the macro environment still super tough, and with so many redundancies continuing to happen across tech, a lot of sales leaders seem to be "doubling down" on old school methods (mandating 2/3 days per week office returns, intense scrutiny on activity).
Findings lots of reps are becoming disillusioned with the SaaS industry as a result - particularly in 2026 when more and more are waking up to the realisation that they want to have more of a work life balance, work from where they like, how they like etc.
Anyone else noticing a similar sentiment?
