Hello hi, I was just thinking about this - according to people i've spoken to, genz is a pretty difficult audience to tap into. Is it true? How has your experience been with that sort of customer base?
Indeed! It's very difficult to talk or to explain anything.
genZs like things which are not presented/done in the "used-to" ways. They like if something is creative, brings new ideas to the table. Even if we just talk about tapping them (selling them something), is also super easy, just some people are overthinking it. In this world, where short-form content videos are the sharks of social media, try to think of those: 1) the hook needs to be within the first seconds so they stop scrolling 2) once you catched their attention what keeps them watching the content? Something silliness, what they've never seen before, or they simply think that the product/service is cool. Best wishes, a GenZ lady 😜 (happy to chat more!!)
haha I agree with Vivi D., conversational relevance is imp when it comes to marketing for gen z
Hey! That’s a really interesting point - Gen Z can definitely be tricky to crack. They’re super ad-aware and tend to tune out anything that feels overly polished or salesy. What we’ve seen work best is content that feels native, creator-led, and fast-paced. Curious - what kind of product or space are you trying to reach them in?
