Plus, i think the CEOs who handle this best never fully hand it off in the first place; they stay close to 2-3 key accounts, sit in on a deal or two every month, keep a direct line to the top prospects. Not micromanaging, just staying in the room enough that when the CRO seat empties, they're not starting from zero. The ones who struggle are the ones who handed it off completely and then suddenly realise they don't know their own pipeline anymore 😅
