How Extramuros AI Boosted Sales Pipeline by Closing the Gap Between Paid Social Clicks and Rep Follow-Up
Sharing a small win because I think the result might be useful for others working in paid-social-driven sales. We've been building Extramuros, an AI agent that sits between the click on a paid social ad and the sales rep call. Most companies in this motion lose pipeline in that exact gap: prospect clicks an Instagram or Facebook ad, fills a form, and waits hours (sometimes days) before a rep calls back. By then the momentum is dead. We deployed our agent on a North American operator selling high-ticket equipment ($15-25K) through Meta ads, with a sales team closing the deals. The motion is: paid social → form fill → rep follow-up → close. 28-day result on their inbound:
993 conversations from paid traffic
62% engagement on cold clicks
87% of prospects leave an email (re-engageable later)
Sales cycle compressed from 3 weeks to 9 days
No-shows dropped from 40% to 14%
45% of engaged prospects take a CTA
60K$ in customer revenue on 1K$ of our fees (60x ROI)
Two things stood out to me: First, persistence matters more than we expected. 15% of conversations were multi-visit, and those returning prospects converted at 61% vs 38% for single-session. A standard widget would have lost them. Second, the email capture (87%) created a re-engageable bucket of ~860 prospects in the first month — most of whom the CRM would never have seen if the conversation hadn't happened the second they clicked. Still very early — we have 4 paying clients today, and we're scaling carefully, but for anyone running a paid-social-first motion with reps in the loop, this gap is where the pipeline is leaking. Happy to share more if useful. Julien, Extramuros
