It is a small world! I left WA in 1992, so it sounds like our paths didn't cross! Loved the area though. I lived near Lake Merwin. What brought you to BG?

I’m not sure a whole lot has changed since 1992 😂, although there’s definitely a lot of housing and development happening right now. We ended up moving to Battle Ground mainly for affordability (specifically buying our first home together). We looked around the broader area, but we could simply get a lot more bang for the buck there. That said, we still spend a good amount of time heading into Portland for great dining, music, and the arts (downtown Vancouver is also dramatically changing). My wife also owns a boutique shop in downtown Camas, which has really become a charming area over the past 10 years, with plenty of growth and new energy.
