hey all, curious how others running cold outbound at scale would poke holes in our process. here's roughly how we do it start to finish:
buy domains โ warm up (2+ weeks, sometimes longer) โ placement test before putting them in rotation (we go by business-inbox placement since we're all B2B, newer domains land 100% in o365/workspace even when they spam-folder consumer gmail)
lists: verified only, we drop catch-all and unverified before anything goes out
sending: plain text, no links, ~15-30/inbox/day, slow ramp, spread across inboxes rather than pushing volume on any one
monitoring: placement test + blocklist checks, swap out anything that goes bad
running ~40 domains this way. what are we missing? anything you'd consider table stakes at this scale that we're not doing?
