I am doing both side now, one way i am talking to distributor reseller and a other is cold mail with standard SDR process, but i find out it always lead me to question their company legit problem, also the rise of scam, make me even worry, checking all the detail even breaking down part to part. how you guys handle this ?

i checked their LinkedIn profit ( the director i talk to ) domain email are correct ( [email protected] ) company register number matched confirm with government detail provide. but i still worry somehow

Let’s say I cold-email a company and they respond, even continuing the conversation on WhatsApp. Is it still possible that the company could be a scam or fake, even though they’re actively replying? What are the risks in situations like this ?
