I tested a linkedin cold outreach campaign where I leaned heavily on social proof (talking about clients, case studies, logos, etc.).
Out of 110 messages, only 7 people replied (9.1%).
Just by changing one line, I went from 9.1 response rate to 24.7 response rates
What I realized:

Social proof doesn’t matter if the opener doesn’t hook.

Most prospects don’t care who I worked with until they see what’s in it for them.
