Howdy from Texas RevGenius Community 🤠 I'm working with a WBENC-certified woman-owned small business (boutique agency) running very lean on a VERY tight budget. The owner wants to begin using HubSpot. Before she goes signs up through the front door at full price, I'm reaching out to ask if anyone has advice on how to help her get the very best possible pricing plan or know of any special promotions for a woman-owned small business signing up for HubSpot for the first time?

One thought to consider is to start with their Starter package. It’s not really advertised but includes quite a bit a capabilities to get started and is only $15/u/m. Once they increase their usage and adoption, then move to the pro licenses. I know HubSpot offers discounts for non-profits but not sure if they offer anything for woman-owned. Certainly worth an ask!

Starter customer platform and one SalesHub pro seat is the best + most used combination for small businesses - meeting most of the CRM needs. Optionally you can also purchase one service hub enterprise seat instead of sales pro to unlock more CRM-wide capabilities

Do not purchase extra user seats, you can always add seats easily in a few minutes whenever needed.

I've received as much as 50% discounts purchasing on behalf of small businesses, a bit of negotiation helps - or reach out to HubSpot rep via a mutual connection who has previously purchased from them.

Do not pay for HubSpot onboarding fee ever, and no gold, diamond or elite HubSpot partner is needed unless your workflows are super complex. There are cost effective ways to avoid the overhead.

If they have venture funding, it might be worth looking into https://www.hubspot.com/startups. We applied for it in my previous project. It took a bit longer for approval, but it was worth it.

Hello! Yes I’d have her start with starter pricing however I am a partner and could help her get a discount on a paid version. I would only recommend sales hub pro with one user for her size. This is an option and can be discounted but has a lot of functionality for the price!
