I am not sure that age has anything to do with it, but moreso the type of role that being an SDR manager poses. You have to enjoy eating rejection for breakfast, and you have to then take that enjoyment and multiply it for your team, keeping them motivated in the face of constant rejection. It takes a special and rare kind of mindset to do that. Of course, there are all matters of skills involved as well, but in my experience itβs the mental fortitude that is the deciding factor
