Jared R. I have defo been there. And also been a part of meetings where marketing and sales "fight" over whose number is right.
And here I thought we were being honest all along. 😉
I usually go for a range of projections, as reduces the risk. Though in one of my roles during COVID, between sales and marketing and the development backlog, I faced enough delays that a lot of times it made me question the sanity of the process.
