Quick question for finance and IT teams: Are employees expensing AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, Jasper, or other SaaS apps without approval?

In some cases yes, although the main problems are many are using these systems as Shadow AI without approval by their company. It was a big topic at Davos this year, along with how to regulate it. Hoping that helps in some way. Mike

Thanks! I actually built Shadow Cop to solve this problem. It automatically scans expense reports and flags unauthorized AI and SaaS subscriptions (like ChatGPT, Jasper, Midjourney, etc.) before they become shadow IT or unnecessary spend.
