Hey All - has anyone implemented an AI sales agent yet? Could be chat, email, SMS, voice, or various stages of the cycle (qualification, prospecting, closing). Looking for lessons learned. Would love to quikcly chat if you've been in the trenches.
Hey Taylor S., I've built a few for different purposes. Happy to answer any questions you have. What are you looking to build?
Hey Dominic R.: looking to build a DTC sales agent (or team of agents) that handles 4 jobs: prospecting, qualification, nurture, and phone sales. We are likely going to start with a human in the loop that the agent can escalate to.
Hi Dominic R. - while I haven't built a DTC sales agent, I've built for other productivity improvement reasons.A person whose videos I found super helpful is https://www.linkedin.com/in/jacobbank/
Hi Taylor, it depends on what you're looking for. A lot of brands are looking to integrate revenue intelligence platforms with their CRMs. Here's a blog post that covers the 12 best revenue intelligence platforms for sales teams. https://www.parsley.id/blog/best-revenue-intelligence-platforms-2026 Full disclosure: I work for Parsley.id. - Happy to chat if you want.
I wouldn’t start with one AI agent that does everything. It works better to split the work into smaller roles, like prospecting, qualifying, nurturing, and sales. Keeping a human in the loop is important at any scale. AI should handle volume and repetition, humans should handle judgment and closing parts. I d suggest starting with assistive AI, move toward autonomy in phases.
Taylor S. good stuff. What tool/platform are you using? Generally speaking, I suggest:
Dedicated prospecting agent with human-in-the-loop.
Qualification can be part of the funnel using a form.
Nuture can be an agent, but you could also build this with logic gates and evergreen workflows. The agent could just be the monitor for when a contact should be dropped into the flow
I do not recommend phone sales yet. I think a human here makes all the difference.
