What Are the Average Budgets for Sales Teams Compared to Marketing?

What kind of budgets is the average sales team working with? I've been a marketer all my days but, for example, one time the CRO will pop up one quarter with a bee in their bonnet about playbooks and get a consultant in. I'm just curious.

Jennifer S. Its going to depend on company size and what pipeline looks like. Companies will create budget depending on need and anticipated ROI.
