Considering a Switch from HubSpot to Attio and Customer.io?

Question @here : We are on Hubspot Marketing Enterprise and Hubspot CRM / Sales Pro. We are considering switching to Attio.com (http://Attio.com) (CRM) and Customer.io (http://Customer.io) (marketing automation).. does anyone have experience with these and making this move? Hubspot is getting super expensive and while it's good and intuitive, I'm not sure it's the best for us (email members about events, onboarding new members, segment for events etc seems to be able to be done through a number of platforms). Would love to hear your feedback !!!

Hi Jared R. Attio is a modern, lightweight CRM that's great for collaboration and quick workflows. However, it's still maturing, so make sure it can support your pipeline, reporting, and integrations before switching. Customer.io offers strong behavioral automation and is well-suited for onboarding flows and event-triggered emails. It's less intuitive than HubSpot but highly customizable for developers or technical marketers. Before switching, it’s recommended to map core workflows, event comms, onboarding, segmentation, and confirming that both tools can support them natively or via integration. The move can work well, but there’s upfront effort in stitching things together. But looking at your need for event management, you can still go for HubSpot and then use a tool like happily to manage events. hahah cool you scared me;) so… quick thoughts
for enterprise i think inflection.io which brings together the MAP + Product triggered email is going to be the right solution for MANY companies…. love the team building it and i see a number of top PLG companies considering switching off marketo/hubspot/customer.io/braze to them - see the analysis i did at carta on this
for you with a smaller business i don’t think inflection is ready for you yet. they are focused on enterirse customers… bummer as i’m playing with it and it is awesome.
i’m on customer.io for whispered and it works decently well…. for your use case of sending lots of emails thoughtfully it could be good

Andy M. we use hubspot marketing enterprise for like 170k contacts which is pricey and i'm not sure of the value for our purposes - feels like customer.io is parity (at a minimum) , hubspot sales pro crm we are only using 1 license and they're charging us their $500/month minimum (5 seat min) - that seems ridiculous

HubSpot is expensive and it's getting worse. Conventional wisdom says switching is horrendous. It doesn't need to be - there are companies that will do it for you. Attio is good, Folk is good and you don't need "integrations" as you can use webhooks

Jared R. i want to share my thoughts BUT i’m scared off by your banning that “T” person for something i can’t see;) I’ve run MOPS at 4 unicorns I’ve sent billions of emails I built a tool to rid the world of spam I know email I’m building on customer.io now/know hubspot suuuuuuper well I’ve gone deep down this rabbit hole and have thoughts for you…. can i share without getting banned? seriously

Jared R. I've implemented CIO at multiple companies and at different stages of growth. It's easily one of the most flexible + capability rich product out there. The way I describe it to people when they ask me if it can do X is, if you can imagine a flow then CIO can do it.
