Here’s a simple way to send Slack alerts when a company or person posts on LinkedIn using Zapier, RSS, and Slack:
Setup steps:
1. Create an RSS feed for the LinkedIn page
* Go to rss.app or fetchrss.com
* Paste the LinkedIn company or personal profile URL
* Generate the RSS feed link
2. Set up Zapier
* Trigger: “New item in RSS feed” and paste the feed link you created
* Action: “Send message to Slack” and select your workspace and target channel
* Customize the message to include post text, link, and timestamp
3. Turn the Zap on
* Zapier will monitor that LinkedIn feed every few minutes
* When a new post appears, it will automatically post an alert in your Slack channel
This workflow is quick to set up, works without any coding, and can be scaled by adding multiple feeds or channels.
