Hey RevOps
Quick feedback please --
A. We have been using Salesloft for 2 years now - don't think we are utilising it well and find it very costly
B. We have thinking on Sales Engagement (formerly High Velocity Sales) from salesforce as a potential replacement
Anyone done this? Ever Considered this?
Seeking quick recommendations.
Anirudh V. We were Salesloft shop (I was admin and implementer), then management forced us to change to Salesforce Sales Engagement to sve money (formerly called High Velocity Sales HVS), after 4 months of multiple failures with HVS interface, dialer, automation, reporting - -and half of the BDRs quitting and sales reps never getting on it; then management allowed me to reimplement Salesloft (we did it in 2 1/2 weeks and BDRs made their quotas and sales reps got back on and were happy). I have lots of details to share why HVS is terrible and you should not waste any time with it.
We ran an A/B test last year for our AMs to use Sales Engagement while our AE/BDR used Salesloft and they pretty quickly asked for Salesloft. Depending on what the core feature you are reviewing for adoption is, I would take a look at even HubSpot Sales Hub. We are also in evals right now and stronger platforms are drastically reducing their price to get more market share.
we evaluated sales engagement to replace Salesloft before, ultimately did not go with sales engagement for a few key reasons; price, integrations to other core systems. We use a few different tools across teams so our situation may not be like yours. as a user of HVS, i always liked it as an AE, but it's def limited compared to Salesloft features depending on what you're looking for
