There’s a lot of noise around AI-powered outreach. Many tools are pushing their own narratives and trying to influence the overall marketing perspective. My question is simple: What is the most reliable and effective email infrastructure that outreach teams are actually using today? For example, tools like Clay, n8n, and sequence-based outreach systems are often mentioned. What is the most proven workflow in terms of deliverability, scalability, and real results?
Teams that are relying on spam level volume are talking about tools. Teams that are creating strong ICPs, with discrete segments, are succeeding with their CRM like HubSpot or in tandem with their outbound strategy in something like Outreach.
There is no magic universal workflow that will be effective for everyone. it depends on a niche, strategy with clear goals, and budget. AI tools were designed to help reduce manual work, not define ICP or randomly segment your TA as Pat H. correctly noticed. I think ai tools were poorly presented in a market and gained shady reputation cz people always want some magic pill to get rich without reading instructions.
Claude Cowork can do outreach and provide the entire system end to end - you just have to put in the work ahead of time to define your targets and provide it right inputs. As others have said, the tools matter so much less than the strategy.
I think it really depends on your use case... we build one of the sequencers that would get mentioned in those workflows... and have plenty of well run GTM teams using our platform alongside hubspot or salesforce. I just think that these workflows are never the real solution... if you don't have your TAM mapped, your ICP dialed tools and workflows won't save you.
