Hello, team! I was wondering if you use paid prospection (such as gift cards for meeting attendance) with your prospects and what results did you observe ?
I am not sure if I recommend it. Several times, I was the prospect that attended a call just to receive the gift card and never purchased anything
Hi Andréa F. probably because the products or services presented were not something you needed. Basically I see this as buying for prospects' time and attention.
I am not confident if this can work with enterprise customers (and not only). Traditionally in larger orgs you need sign a code of conduct, where one of the points is covering that you cannot receive gifts from vendors, partners or clients. So accepting such may impose a risk to prospects you try to engage with. Even for smaller companies this may be conflict of interest - you pay prospects for their time while at the same time their employer pays them.
Z Z. good point, now they could be doing those meetings outside of working hours or making up for them by staying more... Lots of people are employed and freelance on the side.
I agree with Andréa F., it is a short-term solution. I've worked with several b2b saas companies and these gift cards/rewards attract visitors but don't really convert them
It is a short term solution and depending on your target audience can have mixed results. We offered DoorDash/GrubHub gift cards for attending a demo / taking a meeting. For a little while we saw positive outcomes with meetings booked but eventually slowed.
