Creative Ideas for Naming Sales Territories by Zip Code

Does anyone have a clever way of naming territories? Dealing with ones by zip code with tons of reps so would love any ideas

What does "tons of reps" mean in context? Are we talking 2-3 zips per rep?

10-30 zip codes per rep, with 50 reps

I am using Mapsly but I still need a naming convention for hubspot

Ah, got it. And are the zips all in the same state/region?

I'd imagine with 50 reps you are looking at something like SoCal, Central Cal, NorCal as an example, correct?

Right now it’s primarily north east territories so we do have some covering across states. Right now I have it like MD BA S Which would be like south Baltimore for ex. But I was curious if other people have a better way

When I worked at Downeast Cider, we had each territory named with the hierarchy of Region - State - Sub Region. So Northeast - MA - South. One rep was assigned to that territory, and while it was split by distributor coverage it was also easy to cut with zip codes. In another world with multi-rep-to--state coverage, it would be something like Texas - Central - Hopkins
