I’ve been exploring the AI-agents for our sales team had meetings with four different Y Combinator-backed startups focused on go-to-market automation. The one that stood out was a company called Ergo. They have built an AI agent that connects to your email, dialers, and AI notetakers. It automatically syncs conversations and emails into your CRM, keeping everything up to date without manual effort. What impressed me most was their pipeline tracker—it not only reminds reps of past conversations but also suggests follow-up emails based on meeting timeframes and context. The biggest value-add, in my opinion, was the preemptive nudging system that helps ensure no deal or communication falls through the cracks. I’m still fairly new to this space, but this felt like one of the first truly legit use cases for AI in GTM operations. Curious if others have seen similar tools or use cases. I should add that the other three companies were very unimpressive. Pretty much just glorified web scrapers. Interested to see how the space evolves.
Hey John T., Your exploration resonates hard with what we’re seeing at Triple Session—especially the frustration with tools that overpromise and underdeliver. Like you, we’ve evaluated countless “AI” solutions that are just repackaged automation, and it’s refreshing to hear about Ergo’s focus on context-aware CRM syncs and preemptive nudges. Where we diverge (and why we built Triple Session): AI Coach: While sync/pipeline tracking is table stakes, we specialize in using call data to score playbook adherence—so managers can coach at scale without drowning in recordings. CRM-agnostic: Instead of bolting onto your stack, we analyze call + playbook data to identify rep-specific coaching gaps (e.g., "Rep A skips discovery questions 70% of the time") and auto-update deals based on call outcomes. Proactive, not just reactive: Our AI doesn’t just nudge about fallen-through cracks—it flags deals at risk based on missed steps and suggests real-time interventions. How’s your team handling coaching scalability today? If you’re testing Ergo, we’d love to explore synergies—our sweet spot is bridging the gap between AI-tracked data and actionable insights for frontline managers.

Hi John T. – really interesting insights, and Ergo sounds like a solid solution! That said, you actually don’t need to rely on a third-party SaaS product to get similar AI agents and automations in place. With a Make.com subscription and the right expertise, you can build custom workflows that integrate with your CRM, email, dialers, and more, without being locked into one tool. At iWave Digital, we specialize in setting up exactly these kinds of AI-driven automations tailored to your team’s needs. Happy to show you what’s possible if you’re open to a quick walkthrough.
