Using AI for Follow-Up Emails After Sales Calls: Insights Needed

Anyone here using AI to write follow-up emails after the sales calls? My agency buddy was saying writing it is a pain and is even building his own tool to automate it. Just doing some market research... anyone else doing something similar? Or not.
