has anyone here worked with rented or self-created linkedin accounts for outbound? we're weighing whether to add extra senders and i'd rather hear from people who've actually run it 1. are you still doing it today? if you stopped, what was the reason (restrictions, cost, reply quality)? 2. which providers did you have good experiences with? equally useful to hear if none were good 3. did you consider renting accounts from real people directly and setting up/maintaining them yourself? if not, why not?
HA nice didn't know you were also here. You already know my thoughts ๐
Yes, we provide LI profiles on rent and use them for our outbound as well so I'll try to share you my experience:
yes we're sending 100s of inmails, connection-request/personalised-invite and the reply rates are better than emails hands down (especially inmails) as there's no infra headache and you always land in primary, haha! The only caveat is that it's a bit costly and the accounts usually last upto 2-3 months if they're burner ones, original and established profiles lasts long.
avoid random telegram and fb groups. we've lost tons of money exploring the market so it's really tough to find real good and reliable providers. now we're partnered with multiple good vendors and we do LI accounts farming ourselves (can share more about this in DM if you're interested)
this is fine but it has an upper limit as managing all those anti-fingerprinting, warmup/engagement is not possible when you scale and add tens of accounts until you've a dedicated resource for this.
One thing worth flagging โ the account itself matters less than whether the messages coming from it feel real. I have seen teams with multiple rented accounts sending near-identical sequences and getting flagged faster than a single account with genuinely personalized outreach. The bottleneck moved from 'how many accounts can we run' to 'can each message actually reference something specific about the prospect.'
