Feedback on Amplemarket vs. Apollo for Data Gathering

We are currently using Apollo for gathering data and a new hire recommended Amplemarket. Has anyone here used Amplemarket and if so, how did you like it? Thanks in advance!

Hi, have used it in the past and switched over. Here’s why:
It wasn’t straightforward, took a lot of steps to get a sequence started, for some reason
Didn’t integrate with other tools, so you had to download a csv of contacts and import it (looks like they offer prospecting now, but not sure about data quality)
If you target 2+ leads from a company and 1 replies, AM still sends emails to the others - this backfired a couple times
Didn’t include phone calls in the steps
This was about 1y ago. Looks like they rebranded so product may have changed now. I simply think better tools have come out since its inception. I switched over to Crono and am very happy both for emails and phone numbers. It’s a very complete tool, from the extension to scrape individual contacts to the dashboard, making our lives much easier as a team. Has everything you can think of, when it comes to outbound. Works even better with Sales Nav. Disclaimer: I’m a Crono partner and get a referral fee for customers I bring on.

Recommend amplemarket for sure. They have def updated since the comments above - It’s the easiest prospecting system i’ve used so far, Signals, CRM Integration and insights, AI Campaign writer, email warm up etc etc 👍🏼
