Hi everyone, A quick vibe check - building something new, and wanted to see how this is landing. I'd love your gut reaction. Two questions, no wrong answers, honest is best (your responses will be super helpful): 1. When you hear "sales plays," what comes to mind? 2. If a product called itself "the Sales Plays Platform," what would you expect it to do?
maybe something where you can practise objection handling
Repeatable and structured sales pitches/materials for very clear and defined use-cases
A portfolio and repository of different sales plays

1) play like a sports play. Girls play sports too!! But the analogy goes, you know the X's and O’s and how things develope as the conversation goes 2)literally just have so much practice that it’s natural. You can't force the gift of the gab, but getting reps in. No platform will enhance that
Not to avoid an answer (objection handling, use case pitches, these are both good answers), but it kinda depends on what the people being served by this "playbook" actually need and what context are they selling in. For example, if I'm operating top of funnel, a playbook might focus on all aspects of me preparing and executing a great first call. If I'm a strat seller and we're trying to move from product to value-focus, the playbook might be about tactics for preparing, holding and then following up on a value-centered conversation. The playbook could be limited to orchestrating a successful end-to-end legal negotiation, which often starts weeks or even months before an actual one. The worst play/playbooks I've seen pretend to package up a whole sales process end to end and pretend to be valuable. They are almost always too high level and fluffy to do any good at all.
