Hey team, I'm starting to see a pattern, and I want to call it out Most follow-up sequences sound like they were written by the same ChatGPT prompt. But here's something most people don't realize, you can make responses feel genuinely personal for literally pennies. When a lead comes in, instead of blasting them with your standard “personalized” sequence, pull:
Their company's recent news (funding, new hires, expansions)
Industry-specific pain points
Use that context to craft something that actually relates to their situation. The whole process costs maybe 20 cents in AI credits but makes your follow-up sound like you actually paid attention. I started doing this after realizing my "personalized" templates weren't fooling anyone. Response rates went up almost overnight. Anyone else finding that hyper-relevant beats hyper-automated?
Completely agree Samuel O. My approach in order of priority is:
Make the email relevant to the company, the individual and the industry (news, company financials, external factors etc)
Make it relevant to the company and industry (if you cannot find anything specific to the individual)
Make it relevant to the industry (if you cannot find anything specific about the company).
Samuel O. Howd you go about building this setup? Curious if it was complicated or not
No it isn’t difficult at all, just a bit of knowledge around prompt engineering and automation. And you’re golden. You can DM and I show you what to do and help you out with whatever
😅 To be honest i'm doing this as market research. My friend told me they wanted a contextualized follow-up AI and was trying to gauge how hard it is to DIY from a non-technical POV. Do you mind if I see what your setup/stack specifically looks like?
That's about it
Dang, thats pretty good
