Also, I have to see if most lead gens make sense when I'm scaling with referrals, and I get those with no out of pocket other than commission when closed. So I'm thinking it through. I also am hiring on a gov contract specialist who will help me close subcontractor work, which is extremely lucrative and reliable.

I’ve been referring ppl like crazy. This is actually great for a lot of my visa applicant clients (I do profile building) who have lost their jobs with the massive tech layoffs. I hope to check out an event when I'm back home

Depends on the proposal, but I generally will send it with a calendar link for following up within the next 24-48 hours. My business is very fast paced so proposals sent today may not be valid in a week, and I communicate that in detail. I saw some great suggestions on this thread; I'd also add that sending them updates about your current offerings and successes can naturally help close the proposal. Example: I just won two clients speaking engagements at some prominent tech conferences. I lead with that when I’m following up-FOMO is real
