Effective Lead Follow-Up Tips Using Google Sheets and Streak CRM
Hi everyone. Have really been struggling with getting leads to actually respond to my emails recently. Also, over the last few months I’ve banged my head against the wall wondering how in God’s name I was going to fix the problem of keeping track of who I followed up with and who I forgot, and I know a lot of people here have been too. Anyway, I was talking to ChatGPT and I think I’ve got it. Wanted to share it with you all in case it was helpful (should be less than $10/m):

Do set up a simple Google Sheet with columns: Name, Email, Last Contact, Next Follow-up.

Download Clickup CRM—it lets you manage your leads directly from your inbox.

Use ChatGPT to write 2–3 follow-up email templates so you’re not starting from scratch each time.
- 4.
Schedule those emails in Gmail (or with Streak’s reminders) so no one slips through the cracks.
