Hi everyone, I'm looking for a new email marketing platform. Fortunately, we have a decent budget to work with, so cost isn’t a major concern. Here are a few options I’ve explored so far:
Constant Contact – integrates seamlessly with our CRM
ActiveCampaign – connector needed
Mailchimp – connector needed
Emma – connector needed
Campaign Monitor – connector needed
Our top priorities are:
Automation
Workflows
Segmentation
Customization
If anyone has experience with these platforms (or has other recommendations), I’d love to hear your thoughts.
are you migrating off sendgrid? what is your volume?
No, we use Blackbaud, but it isn't great. We're currently at about 60,000 contacts
okay and how many emails per month? Have you checked out amazon SES? really great option
happy to connect you with one of the leads over there if you want
just dm me
HubSpot esp is good We just moved to customer.io What is your product and what are you marketing to them
We're a non-profit. Our goal is donations and donor retention. I found that HubSpot is too vast for our current needs and we're not looking for a new CRM at this time
Shirley C. Given your focus on donor retention and automation (without switching CRMs), ActiveCampaign or Customer.io could be strong fits — both are flexible, great with segmentation, and offer solid workflows. We’ve seen nonprofits get a lot of value from both, especially with email journeys and behavior-based triggers. Happy to chat if you want to walk through pros/cons based on your use case! What CRM are you using?
Last month I would’ve highly recommended Customer.io but recently their support has been lacking. Otherwise it ticks all your top priorities.
LOL just get a gohighlevel, the email with be controlled by sendgrid and SMS with twillo. Get yourself your own domain and warm that sucker up and you are good to go
Hi Shirley C., If you're not for profit and looking for marketing purpose and list if opted-in, then I strongly recommend EmailOctopus (one the best in deliverability), they connect with AWS SES and you can use N8N for automation. Do let me know if you need help? We assist non-profit organization to assist in MarketingOps.
Hey Shirley C., agree with comments above - ActiveCampaign is the most flexible and functional for your needs. I've been managing databases with hundreds of thousand contacts, and it worked just perfect for that.
