Hey folks, I have a quick question: If you’ve moved measurement ownership between teams, what was the biggest surprise — good or bad?
It was bad at first but then got used to it. But after some clear communication its good now.
Makes total sense! Curious though, what did “clear communication” actually look like? Regular syncs? Ownership doc? Or just figuring it out as you went? We’ve seen some teams use RevSure to keep ownership distributed but align on one shared measurement layer- so everyone’s looking at the same pipeline view. Cuts down a lot of that messy transition phase. Would love to know what specifically worked for you?
For a team transferring ownership of Google Tag Manager (GTM), the biggest surprise is often the shocking state of the container's organization—or lack thereof. Many teams discover a "mishmash of loosely-connected activities" that masquerades as a GTM model, leading to confusion, errors, and an unreliable measurement foundation.
