Is anyone using Hubspot for Marketing and Sales while also using SFDC for customer operations, etc. Our ops team is running off a SFDC database that requires Closed Won Opportunities, so that can’t be moved now (non-starter) I’d prefer to run marketing / saless (Deals) out of Hubspot. We already have both w/ bidirectional syncs. If you have done this before and run Deals out of Hub and synced Closed Won Opps, I’d love to talk to you.
Chris D. To clarify, you want a handoff from HubSpot to salesforce instead of a bidirectional sync. Is the issue you have is that you have sales and ops both running on HubSpot and Salesforce but you want to separate it and have Sales just in HubSpot and Ops in Salesforce? I haven't done this exact scenario but Iv'e implemented similar systems
Jaron S. the issue is we are running markeing on Hub and Sales our of SFDC Opportunities. Also, the backend ops are built off of Opportunities, so moving off SFDC is a non starter (sorry Pat H.), but if I can run Sales out of Hubspot and just sync over Closed Won Deals (Hub) to Closed won opportunities (SFDC) at least it’s gets the GTM operation all in Hub
Chris D. are you running into errors? This is something we have done before with companies who are running both and allowing post sale workflows to run through Salesforce. Usually we handle this with the integration HubSpot offers for Deals to Ops, occasionally depending on the need and workflow we put middleware like Zapier in place between the two systems. What issues are you running into today where this is not working?
