Quick question regarding HubSpot's AI Assistant: I've been using it to draft follow-up emails for stalled deals. However, I've noticed that the AI doesn't incorporate previous conversation contexts (like past emails, call logs, or notes) into the drafts. All relevant AI settings, including CRM data access, are enabled. Still, the emails generated are quite generic. Has anyone else experienced this? Any tips on getting the AI to produce more context-aware email drafts? Thanks in advance!
Aniket P. my quick simple approach to this problem! Create a multi line field and store the summarise email. Next time when a new email comes in, then add it to the previous summary and then do the further summarising together. That's how you can use that field while working with hubspot's AI. Other thing you can do is, you can create an integration which stores or picks up last certain emails upon trigger and you can use it. Then by using webhook, just submit it to hubspot workflow and send reply.
What is your goal? With all due respect, the tactic above is going to create incredible CRM bloat.
The goal is to book a next meeting the prospects who we dont have a next meeting with. In hubspot when I go to to stalled deals and then send an email from there, It doesnt pick up context from previous conversation history logged from emails, call logs and even what i have entered into hubspot. So I want the AI to understand that context and draft an email for it, Doing it manually will be a lot of wasted time. Building something for such a small use case would also be engineering bloat.
Stalled deals should have personalized outreach, at least in my opinion.
I have not used HubSpot's AI Assistant for this use case with my clients.
I agree with Pat. Not sure AI is the answer to locking in next steps with a prospect. Why aren’t the sales people locking in the next meeting?
I agree that AI can’t fully own the next meeting step, but it can draft the follow-up email to 70–80% so I can quickly review and personalize it. Right now, I’m the only one running GTM at Tenali. Our contract sellers handle prospecting and getting the customers to the demo, and some deals are already in POC with very high engagement (4+ hours/day). These reps often don’t know what to send next, especially after a demo or during POC. That’s why I want AI to assist with context-rich drafts. As the CEO, I want to personally own these follow-ups to ensure every prospect sees our commitment, gets value fast, and feels set up for success with Tenali.
