How to Track Event Attendees in HubSpot for Sales: Best Practices and Tools
Hi everyone, curious how others are tracking event attendees in HubSpot for sales purposes. Use case: contacts and/or companies attend multiple conferences a year, some with meetings, some without. Many are recurring, so the same attendee might go one year and skip the next. We need to be able to see meetings, contact conversions, and deals by trade show, and differentiate contacts/companies via lists, contact views, and reports. Planning to use workflows to drive a lot of this. Ideas I'm considering: multi-select properties, meeting types (just to say it was at an event), custom objects, campaigns. Would love to hear what's actually working for people. (And yes, I'm also wishing HubSpot had custom activities like some other CRMs 😞)
