What's the type of Linkedin cold message you wouldn't have an immediate reaction to mark as spam?

One or two sentences max
It doesn't start with the word "noticed" or "curious"
It isn't being sent from a lead generation company
It doesn't ask an overused hook/question like "If I could X, would you find value...?"
Filter me out by sending me a connection request with a message in it
Don't send me an in-mail ever

Something straight to the point, as I would appreciate not wasting time skimming through huge paragraphs. Persistent messages where I have obviously no intention to respond to also irk me and make me want to mark as spam. Lately, I saw an interesting approach, quoting some of my friends’ posts I reacted to. While it shows research done, the rest of the message was totally unrelated. So a bit deceitful to read and waste time.

the one that actually gets me to respond is when someone references something specific I shipped or wrote — not 'I noticed your impressive background' but like 'saw your post about X, had a question about Y.' shows they actually looked instead of running a mail merge.

Quick thing I'd add: If the first message I get is a direct pitch with a calendar link. I'll probably block that person lol (or at least have the urge to do so).

Yeah I find it like disrespectful in a way - like join the queue as I'm a busy person. And I'm like wait you came to me and you make me join a queue?
