Hi team, Quick question - We assign leads to BDRs on the CRMs - how are managing automated tracking for the manager? For ex. If leads from one particular source were assigned a week ago, how can we set some alert after a week that now it's time to check for updates, without bombaring the manager with individual lead-level notifications. Ideally just one alert for the same.
What CRM?
Hey Nimisha, If you are using HubSpot then you can add a branch in a workflow, if the follow up is not sent, add an automated task. Let’s chat in the DM
Easy. Set up a workflow (in HS) or Flow (in SFDC) to see if the lead has been updated. (You can even define which fields have been updated or if an activity has been logged…) Then connect workflow/flow to a notification (email, slack, desktop, etc.) and fire away!
“Easy” is hyper relative to the fidelity of data capture.
We use Hubspot -
Tasks/alerts for BDRs are sorted but for wanted to figure out for the visibility of broader team/manager. As for workflows, I tried it but I'll send an alert/task for every enrolled lead in the workflow when it meets the enrollment criteria - possible to figure out a single reminder in a channel/to the manager for an entire list of particular leads?
e.g. we host an event and the list of attendees is assigned to BDRs. Want to track and check in after a week about those accounts with the BDRs - every lead's alert is unnecessary/bombarding here. A quickie note in a channel for broader visibility will help so the progress can be discussed then amongst the team. Many similar leads are assigned to the BDRs and it all gets lost - If it has been a month since the assignment - what's the progress?
Nimisha You could add a step in your Workflow, to assign to a list. Then you could build reports/Dashboard filtering on that list.
