Hi Ashley R. I'm glad you brought that up. Team, I need some inputs on lead gen too, my firm is expanding it's footprints into the UAE, and we are figuring out methods to generate leads. We have not taken access to tools like lusha or Apollo, but we have LinkedIn premiums. How do you guys suggest we go about it? Would really appreciate inputs here.
I'd actually hold off on buying more tools for now. If you're entering the UAE, use LinkedIn Premium to have 20-30 conversations with people in one specific market segment. Learn who buys, how decisions get made, and what problems matter most to them. After 20+ years in sales training, I've seen teams waste enormous amounts of money buying tools before they understood the local buying environment. The teams that succeed usually learn first, then automate. Tools like Apollo and Lusha work best when you already know who you're targeting and what message resonates.
Testing Prospeo free plan wouldn't hurt though. Its a great replacement for all the other tools you shortlisted
For those using Claude Code or an agentic workflow, I've really enjoyed Deepline! https://deepline.com/
Adrian G. totally agree with your point. Automation doesn't solve everything. Too many people automate pure crap and it just creates noise for everyone else and burns bridges.
For UAE expansion without Apollo/Lusha, LinkedIn Sales Nav + manual enrichment is a solid start. First get very tight on ICP: industry, company size, buyer title, geography, and trigger signals. Then build a small account list, find decision-makers on LinkedIn, enrich/verify emails, and test messaging in small batches before scaling. For UAE/APAC, avoid generic "we're expanding" messaging. Tie the opener to a real trigger: hiring, market entry, partnerships, funding, or a specific regional pain. Happy to share what's working in those markets if you want to go deeper.
Hey, Here's a quick video on how you can build an ICP matrix to target prospects on LinkedIn. Hope it helps! https://youtu.be/8FMSjcy1kLg?si=KuitVn7Ro9OePUic
Incase you are attending events and exhibitions there, you can try this to generate qualified leads from those events https://www.linkedin.com/posts/aims-consulting-services_one-of-the-use-cases-covered-during-our-online-activity-7469685860788170752-u1DQ?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_desktop&rcm=ACoAADKR5IMBO19QUOWdvzFrfUBdMvH94gLvmd4
