Hello folks ! I’m John, and over the past few years I’ve been exploring how creators can bring a more human touch to the way brands connect with people. One thing I’ve noticed is that audiences don’t always relate to polished ads , but they do connect with authentic stories, experiences, and voices that feel real. That’s where creator-led, UGC-style content really shines. I’m here to learn from this community, exchange ideas, and share what’s worked (and not worked!) in making content feel more genuine. Excited to be part of the conversations here and to connect with like-minded folks.
Love this. Have found telling your ideal prospect's story is very powerful. The pain, the journey, and how what you do connects. Video is an easier way to do this, but digital events and other mediums work too.
I'm quite literally journey about this. Recently I have a couple of videos pop off on LinkedIn, getting nearly 100,000 video views from raw content. One I posted when I was feeling very vulnerable and even a little embarrassed and one where I brought the user in on my DIY project in my home office. Moral: Everything you're saying is right about less polish and more rawness John S. whether you're a brand, a solopreneur or an agency. That's what I'm sharing with my clients on their thought leadership endeavors.
