I will warn you though, Apollo's data is quite sketch a lot of the time. It has messed up our CRM quite a lot. Their data model around job change updates doesn't work well with Hubspot either.
That’s a solid question. Most folks end up burning credits in Apollo trying to figure out the ICP. We were facing a similar issue and solved it for ourselves internally. DataviCloud helps you define and validate your ICP upfront, and then enrich only the ones that fit. Saves a ton of time and credits. Do let me know if you'd ike to know more.
Use: theboomerang.co
signals -hiring, recent funding etc department - engineering, technical etc Intent data seniority level - VP - Entry level Founding year all on Apollo, firstly define your ICP
Apollo also allows you to score contacts and accounts based on several criteria. This can be layered on to your firmographic, demographic and behavioural (website visits) to help you get closer to your ICP. As mentioned above, a smaller well targeted list is always better. If you haven't yet, install the tracking code on your site so you can add the website visits filter and differentiate by pages visited.
Suman D. To get the best results with Apollo for filtering your ICPs, start by clearly defining exactly who you want to target like think industry, company size, location, and tech stack. Use Apollo’s advanced filters and intent signals to narrow your search, then enrich your data with tools like Clay or Clearbit for accuracy. Always do a quick manual review to catch details automation might miss, and remember that a smaller, well-targeted list will outperform a big, generic one every time.
