Not directly. The only guidance I've heard is to moderate the expectations of what happens the day after launch day.

If you don’t have a large circle of friends who can who can upload you quickly, you will not likely get a lot of traction. The trick here is to have large community before the launch.

Product Hunt relies on 1 major factors:
your network connections that can go and upvote for the product
However math after that is more interesting. Even though u get decent traction u might not find actual customers. You might find fellow founders signup to test the product. Yet a good place for traction. I would still prefer doing it on G2. Helps to rank better in SEO.
