Hi All, hoping this question isn't inappropriate for this channel... I'm struggling to find qualified SDRs and Sr. SDRs through typical job boards/LinkedIn. We are a boutique SD agency with a lot to offer (unique role/skills dev/experience/career/fun team/supportive, healthy culture/fully remote/solid comp/benes, etc.), but we don't have the bandwidth to train green SDRs--no matter how wonderful/full of potential someone is. Any tips on finding experienced SDRs? (I did post my job in the chat-job-postings channel here last night.) Thanks in advance for any advice (or any referrals if you know someone!).
Hi Ashley - we just hired our 3 from a firm called Memory Blue (an outsourced BDR firm). We had one amazing one from there through our contract with them so we hired him out of it and then got two of his buddies and they are all amazing. I am not suggesting you do that bc the fee is so high, but it might be worth putting that company into linkedin and pinging reps who work/worked there. They are very well trained. I hope this helps!
I would recommend AI tools that do AI SDR, the specific ones I experienced were doing a great job and managed to reduce 80% of the work and dramatically improve the speed to lead. I'm not sharing here the company because we shouldn't promote in this channel, but if someone is curious you can DM me
Thanks Mike C. So we worked with qualiflow.io - it's an AI SDR that has ultra realistic human voice over the phonr and it's very intelligent (so not like the dumb bots from the bank). We connected it to our lead forms, so every new lead was automatically getting a phone call a moment after the submission. In the call the agent was qualifying the lead and saying it will be faster then waiting for a human, if the person is qualified then the agent book a meeting automatically, if is not qualified then it marks the lead as unqualified. Like that we hit leads in minutes instead of days, the lead got a meeting fast, the top funnel garbage was filtered without waisting SDR time and data was documented into the platform. 80% time save and speed to revenue got shorter. I don't know if anyone is curious but I can make a video tomorrow and share it here so you will see the whole flow. Hope I helped π«Άπ
Thanks Liad S. for the response and suggestion. Our CEO is committed human SDRs, but good to know about qualiflow.io regardless. Appreciate it.
Hey Ashley, have you tried RepVue for sourcing candidates? There are a couple of solid sourcing tools out there, but RepVue is sales-specific
Really insightful thread Ashley B. Curious to know if you have considered partnering with specialized offshore SDR enablement teams. Some agencies now offer hybrid models where experienced SDRs handle prospecting while leveraging AI-driven tools for data enrichment and lead scoring. It keeps quality high but cuts the hiring time and overhead. Weβve helped a few client teams in North America build similar blended setups recently, and itβs worked surprisingly well for boutique sales teams like yours. Happy to share what worked if thatβs useful.
Hi Ashley, this may sound odd, I'm a 20+ year Senior Sales Trainer. Go where SDRs fail out of AE roles. Many good SDRs get promoted too early, struggle, and quietly look to step back. Search LinkedIn for βAE to SDRβ or βAccount Executive (open to work)β These people already know pipeline, not just prospecting. They ramp fast and need far less training.
