Seeking Tips to Overcome Objections in Tech Sales
Hello everyone, I hope you’re all having a great day! I’m still pretty new to the SDR role, about 2 months in. Before this I was in retail where I was fortunate enough to generate $1.4M in sales and earn a spot in the President’s Club. That said, I’m quickly realizing tech sales is a whole different challenge and it feels much harder than retail. Right now I’m struggling with overcoming objections and figuring out the best approach. For example, I’m not sure if calling C-level executives first is the right move. I’ve been reading sales books, doing trainings, and even investing in outside coaching, but I still feel like I’m missing something. My long-term goal isn’t just to make great money, I also want to take what I learn and eventually teach others. So here’s my question to the group: How do you personally overcome objections and break through in tech sales? Any advice, tips, or stories from your own journey would mean a lot. And if anyone is open to connecting, I’d love to learn from your experience!
