We currently use ZoomInfo for contact enrichment. We are in the renewal process and evaluating other vendors that have a more integrated partnership with Gong (like Apollo). Has anyone switched to Apollo that can share pro/cons against using it vs ZoomInfo? Our market focus is primarily in US.
Hi Laura, We’ve worked with both ZoomInfo and Apollo for different clients. ZoomInfo’s data quality is usually stronger, but Apollo integrates more smoothly into outreach + tools like Gong, so adoption is easier for sales teams. If you’re US-focused, Apollo can be a solid and more cost-effective option—but I’d still suggest keeping a hybrid setup (enrichment from ZoomInfo + Apollo for workflow/ops). Happy to share more details if useful—we help teams set up GTM ops and data workflows around these tools. What you use for company enrichment?
Hi Laura M.- I am founder and CEO at Bitscale and you can consider bitscale.ai for this. Atleast 10 customers like Verato have switched from Zoominfo to Bitscale in last 30 days.
I've found data accuracy is about the same in both, but usually on different targets. Aka Zoominfo will have good information on this guy, but Apollo is better on another. I can't predict which is going to be accurate through my usage. We actually have both - but having accurate data is extremely important to us so we make the expense.
We have integrated demandbase with gong and seeing much better results.
Apollo is focused more on sales engagement data as compared to ZoomInfo, based on my hands-on experience, which aligns better with Gong. Also, with the focus being more on sales engagement, Apollo has some advanced features such as advanced automated sales sequences, which are highly customizable, then, the feature of task prioritization, and the analytics, action-oriented, insights I also believe that the account scoring by Apollo comes very near to high-confidence level accuracy when aligned with Gong's intelligence, which again is a big advantage.
Christian F. - can you expand on that? Feel free to DM me.
If data quality is a concern and budget isn’t…. Don’t move from ZoomInfo to Apollo. Literally best advice I can give here.
