Curious if anyone has recommendations for data platforms. Running ZoomInfo/Apollo, considering churning ZI. Need is high-accuracy phone/email with decent coverage for our outbound motion. No sequencing, dialing, intent, etc. Narrow ICP in the 4 figures. US higher ed specifically
Isaac T. - have you tried ChatGPT and reformatting data...for targeted demand gen & branding influence? I did a search in LinkedIn for a specific job title I want to target. Titles are a bit niche - but very dead-on for my situation.
Cut and pasted all the pages of LinkedIn results into a word document - 200 pages (I know, it took a little time - but my sense of accomplishment when done was through the roof! 😄 ).
Uploaded the word document into ChatGPT, along with some directions about patterns in how the data is being presented.
Asked ChatGPT to search through and extracts fn, ln, title, workplace into a spreadsheet format. Checked a number of records randomly. Works brilliantly.
Now I'm using this file to create a LI matched list for targeted LI ads.

ZI may be hard to beat on breadth of data but options that might be able to help Apollo (you already have) RocketReach Uplead maybe even Seamless.ai and Lusha they all kind of bleed into the things you say you don’t need but may be able to just get the phone numbers and emails you’re looking for at a cheaper price

We’ve seen mixed results with ZoomInfo in higher ed — coverage can be patchy. Apollo is usually solid for email, but phone accuracy can be hit or miss. For super narrow ICPs (like a few thousand accounts), sometimes a data partner who can custom-build + verify lists ends up being more reliable than an off-the-shelf platform. Hi Isaac T. higher ed can be a tough segment for reliable phone/email coverage. What’s worked for us is enriching only the ICP-matched leads instead of bulk lists, so accuracy stays high and, even with data mining, costs stay low. This is purely about phone/email enrichment (nothing to do with intent). If you’re open, I can DM you more details.
Hey Isaac T., we do around 3500 dials per day, and use a waterfall of Leadmagic (cost saving but low coverage) & Fullenrich (95% coverage) for finding phone numbers.

The last 3 companies I've been at we've seen many of the providers data decline in quality. All turned to Clay at some point.
We can get you very high quality company list and public emails/phone numbers Our coverage is about 3x of apollo, clay and others, it’s not linkedin based like very much everybody else on the market. Also about 1/4 the cost of apollo. Beyond that you can do waterfall enrichment with leadmagic/wiza/prospeo and others for top contact info. if you want the best on the market solution. Definitely can run clay prompts for companies we find for you as well to bubble up contacts
