Hey, what are people using for market research, competitive intel, and ICP research? I've looked at tools like Webhound and Parallel. Any others people rec?

Will C. It really depends on how you're defining market research, but if you're talking about primary research i.e. asking people questions and analyzing responses, I highly recommend Pollfish. I built a whole product line around this.
If you are looking to do this for visitors who land on your site and you wanna answer them better then you can check out raykolabs.com It gives your product a voice. This voice agent will interact with your visitors and do all the research in back end to show them how your product is better.
Will C. i would recommend using different tools for different parts you're trying to solve. Like for ICP, Clay is probably the strongest if youre willing to build workflows around it. For audience and market research, I'd look at SparkToro and Ahref/SEMrush respectively. I wouldnt try to make one tool do all three, it gets harder to manage you never really master any of them. I hope this helps. 👍
Patrick from the Kiln recently posted a demo of https://sentrion.ai/ on LinkedIn. It is a pretty cool tool to get a lot of intel from a company just by scanning their open job roles.
not a direct answer to your question but worth flagging: a lot of the ICP research problem downstream is really a deal intelligence problem. once you know who you're targeting, the next gap is reps not having the context to actually work those accounts well. that's a different layer but related if you're thinking about the full picture.
Will C. These are good AI tools, but you will hit a brickwall at some time, especially with market research and CI. This is still more of a process which often involves reading between the lines and actually talking to people.
