If you have existing customers who are popular/category leaders, try to get testimonials from them. Run a targeted, low cost LinkedIn campaign sharing how they became successful using your product. Asset creation for this campaign may cost $100-200. You can use 30-40% remaining budget for experimenting for copies, messaging, channels (LinkedIn, Email, Whatsapp), and Geo. Measure output/leading metrics. When something gets traction, double down. I am assuming this $1000 is a notional number to avoid distractions, and get the strategy/plan right with constraints in place. Let me know if you need any help setting this up.
Hi Ben M. If I had $1K/mo, I’d split it across a few channels:
Targeted outbound with Clay + LinkedIn/email (we’ve seen the highest ROI for SaaS teams here).
A small retargeting budget to capture folks already engaging.
Some content to build long-term compounding returns.
LinkedIn Ads and G2 usually need more budget to move the needle. Happy to share how we’ve set this up for other SaaS teams if that’s helpful.
Depends on a lot of factors. But, I'd say LI. Our surveys reveal that most users learned about the product via 1. Google (organic), then 2. LinkedIn Posts and 3. LinkedIn Comments. You can support this with flow with LI ads. Multi-channel visibility.
use cold email with clay and you can play the volume game within 1000 bucks for sure
One more vote for LinkedIn first. Your approach from there all depends on what you’re selling. Use LinkedIn for the social selling aspect, don’t worry about ads!
LinkedIn for sure (generally speaking)
Hey Ben id rent a ton of linkedin accounts from profilepartner I did it recently and it worked a treat for my business
Great question, Ben! 👍 For early-stage SaaS, I’ve seen outbound channels like LinkedIn + email outreach work really well when they’re tightly targeted to the right ICP. If I had $1k to spend, I’d focus on building a solid prospect list and personalized outreach sequences, which usually give faster traction than ads at that budget level. Curious to see what others say here, too!
this is a bit biased but but I'd use that spend on a tool that can do content strategy & planning to drive in leads across social platforms, mainly LinkedIn leveraging your founders and executives socials to grow their voice to build active relationships with relevant audiences. This is currently stealth but if your interested lmk and we can chat more.
